While you read this, check and see if any of these concerns are relevant for you.

The first concern of our customers is that they are fighting to have more autonomy. What we mean by autonomy is that they are free from unwanted limitations, restriction and relationships. Autonomy means you have an increased capacity to take care of your concerns the way you want to. You have the capacity to earn the income you want, to attract the employees you want, to work with the employees you want, to spend time with your family and friends and to be around trusted colleagues. The more autonomy, freedom, choice and self direction you want the more knowledge and competence that requires. We work with people to increase their knowledge and competence.

The second concern of our customers is to increase their ability to compete in the marketplace. What our customers see is that following the traditional practices, habits and thinking of business is insufficient to get them where they want to go. They accept that more of the same will get them one thing – more of the same. They understand that working harder will only produce fatigue, plus more of the same. They can see that no one is promising them lifetime employment, savings, pensions or any other long term program for their future.

The third concern of our customers is that they are looking to build or mature their careers. A career is built over time and is specified by others as they know you. It becomes part of your identity. This is different than having a job which is short term and in the moment. Our customers see that today’s marketplace requires a whole different set of skills to compete than it used to. While this is not new news, and people know it, they do not know what to do about it.

The fourth concern for business owners and executives is that they are looking to increase enterprise value. We work with people to increase their knowledge about the mechanics of a business enterprise. We work with them to make their enterprise more valuable.
